Overseas vendors – trust and communication… I recall a sale I made within a week of listing a property that had been on the market for 4 months with another agent. The overseas vendor was rapt. Considering how quick I was, he asked if the buyer had seen the property with the previous firm. He had, he liked it, and he had told the agent he wanted to buy it. Despite that, he had been taken to another property and the agent tried to sell him that one instead! I suppose that was a simpler option, but the Vendor’s trust was misplaced!
The point is, you need an experienced agent with integrity, commitment, and the ability to handle complications. I thrive on challenge and have fun with these sales. I worked with a vendor using intermittent satellite communication from central China; a shift worker in Calcutta who woke me confused by time zones; and a “lifestyler” in Thailand who paddled for hours across a river delta with his downloaded signed copy of the Agreement to have it scanned to email back to me.
I really enjoy this work. It is a privilege to be involved in it. I have the ability to coordinate my experience, knowledge, and commitment to your best advantage.
I am said to “go the extra mile” for my clients. Let me work for you.
