At the time of writing this I am marketing a farm in Whitemans Valley, a house on the foreshore at Days Bay, and a family home in Heretaunga. In each case I am servicing the needs of established clients. I enjoy a bit of variety. In the past I have sold service stations, a Church, several dilapidated houses, and even a roadside cliff!

I have shocked a few clients with the things I have done. I sold one apartment at 8.30pm on a Christmas Eve to an expatriate investor. Another time, I drove back after a days skiing to sell an unfinished townhouse to a Lawyer, then went back at 5am to continue my holiday. One Christmas I worked through the holiday period helping a client sell her home very discretely with minimal publicity.

In terms of “customer service” all this must seem quite extraordinary. I make the point that I don’t do it all the time and I much prefer a good balance of “regular” work. I have a great sense of adventure and I love a challenge. I enjoy doing some things just for fun and the feeling of achievement.
